Our Programs:

Hampers Of Hope

To date, our Hamper of Hope Program has provided support to over 1,000 families through direct assistance and emergency care packages. As demand continues to grow, we are currently able to assist up to 10 families each month. Unfortunately, the increasing number of requests has outpaced our resources, and it deeply saddens us when we must turn individuals away. We are committed to expanding our reach, but we need your support to continue making a difference.

Knowledge for All Tutoring Progam

We have enlisted a number of tutors who are willing to give an hour of their time each week, to tutor persons, from primary to adult level.

New2U Clothing Program

We receive a large amount of clothing  ( new and gently used) which we use in our bartering pop up shops.  In our bartering pop up shops we exchange food items for clothing.  Some persons also wish to purchase clothing and all items are sold at below cost price.  We are hoping to open our thrift store early in 2024, where we can provide items for those in need and to make revenue to fund our projects.

Back to School Program

Every year 20 schools ( 10 primary & 10 Secondary) are selected and two back packs filled with necessary stationary supplies are provided.  This year in 2024 we included goody bags for the teachers.  This bag contained stationary and supplies which will be used in the classroom

The Christmas Hamper Drive

During Christmas we try to do a bit more to our Hampers of Hope, we tend to open up the Hamper Drive to more families and provide food items and gifts for the children.

Mentorship & Scholarship

This mentorship program sees persons aged 15 and up engage with us and tell us what skill they’re interested in.  We take them through the process of learning about the area they want to pursue, after attending sessions we award 5 scholarships to assist persons in the area they wish to learn.  This program is funded by a private donor, however we are looking to increase the number of recipients.

Back to School Grant

In 2024 we partnered with Melbourne Inn, where we granted 6 back to school grants of $250 each.  These are awarded to persons who have the potential but not the resources.

Empowerment Sessions

Every quarter we host empowerment sessions.  These are catered to teens, unemployed/under employed persons, Men and women.
